The College of Computer Sciences (CCS) covers Bachelor of Computers Science & Information Technology Degree Course of the University of Pune. At present the college has basic infrastructure includes number of latest sets of computers, so as to enable the students to give proper practical training. The college also maintains a well-equipped library for the students.
Information Technology and Computer Science are becoming popular today and will generate demand for skilled manpower. The College’s aim is to equip younger generation technology.
These courses are mainly conducted for under graduate students in collaboration with the corresponding industries. Students have to go through theoretical courses in the centre and are required to complete their implant training in the respective industries. Most of these students are directly absorbed by the Industries.
The college has opened its option with Arts & Commerce faculties leading to B.A. & B.Com. Degree. The college runs the prestigious courses of M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications) in the faculty of Science & MCS (Master of Computer Science). The institute has a separate placement cell which provides up to date information about job opportunities and arranges for campus interviews and placement.
